I opened Five Points Tech Repair to help people get more life out of the devices they already own. With new computers and other devices costing so much, a repair or a thoughtful upgrade can be a practical, affordable alternative to starting over.

My goal is to give you honest answers, straightforward pricing, and a comfortable place to ask questions—so you can make a decision that works for you.

Meet George

Hi, I’m George Vidiniotis, the owner of Five Points Tech Repair.

My interest in computers began with video games and grew into a curiosity about how the technology behind them works. I’ve been building my own PCs for years and have long been the person friends and family turn to when their technology isn’t cooperating.

I was born in Corfu, Greece, and came to the United States when I was one. My mom is from Erie, Michigan, and my dad was from Athens, Greece. They met right here in Toledo at my dad’s auto repair shop, and I grew up nearby in Maumee, Ohio.

Opening this shop brought together my love of technology, my enjoyment of helping people, and my family’s history of running local businesses.

A Family Connection Since the ’60s

This location has been part of my family’s story since the 1960s. My uncle and aunt ran a TV store here, and my cousin later operated a car dealership.

Today, I’m proud to continue that family tradition, carrying our history forward with Five Points Tech Repair

I believe keeping a device that still meets your needs is often the smartest move. Sometimes a repair or upgrade is all it takes. When putting more money into a device doesn’t make sense, I’ll be honest about that, too.
